Since 1978, the dedicated women of the Seattle Chapter, provided over $22.1 million in fellowships to multiple departments in the University of Washington and Washington State University. In addition to our financial support, the Seattle Chapter ARCS women mentor our Fellows, and provide connections to other ARCS scholars across the state and nation. We hope our support and our interest in them fuels their passion and provides freedom and confidence to tackle some of the most critical problems facing our planet; including, such as climate change, global health issues – both (human and animal), and sustainable agriculture. We believe their scientific research can lead to ground breaking discoveries changing the future and keeping Washington in the forefront of global technological and scientific innovation.
We are thrilled to support these young scientists. Please contact us if you wish to learn more about joining our supporting us in our mission to advance science in America. It is a fascinating and fun opportunity we would love to share with you.
